2015 Vegetable CSA Signup

Hello everyone,

      I realize it is cold, and miserable outside, but now is the time to start thinking of the upcoming Vegetable CSA season.  We are now accepting signups and you can sign up directly on http://cochranefamilyfarm.harvesthand.com/shares/register.  We have made a couple exciting changes this year but the main ones are we have increased the length of the CSA from 20 weeks to 22 weeks to keep you with delicious organic and natural products longer, the Harvesthand website has been upgraded and more content added,  and we have added a new delivery location in Dartmouth.  You can call us with any questions or stop on out as well.  Payments can be made by email transfer, cheque, visa, mastercard (please see the additional fee for credit cards on the flyer it is a 3% charge), or you can stop out to the farm and pay by cash or debit as well.  Do to the nature of the CSA and the fact that we are starting earlier this year, we are starting signups earlier also so that we may be prepared for the coming season.  Last year we had several folks send in registrations with no payments and ask we hold a spot and when the season started a couple of those folks did not come through and left us scrambling to fill their spots.  This year a membership spot will not be held without payment to avoid this problem.  We hope to see you back with us for more adventures in healthy food and sustainable living and we look forward to seeing you here at the farm.  If you have any comments or questions ask away.

One more important thing I almost forgot, there are still some issues with the online signup so please refer to the following;

If you are picking up at the farm subtract $60.00 from the amount you send us and for returning customers there is a discount of $20.00 for single shares and $40.00 for Family shares.   Also there is the 3% fee if using Visa or Mastercard as mentioned.   So for example the $426.00 share would actually be $438.78 on the credit card.

Sincerely,

Frank, Lisa, Julie, Garth, and of course Brian
